Michael Joseph Rudometkin, aged 40, tragically lost his life on May 26, 2021, in a mass shooting at the Valley Transportation Authority (VTA) rail yard in San Jose, California. Rudometkin was one of nine VTA employees who were fatally shot by their colleague, Samuel Cassidy.
