Jose Dejesus Hernandez III, aged 35, tragically lost his life on May 26, 2021, in a mass shooting at the Valley Transportation Authority (VTA) rail yard in San Jose, California. Hernandez was one of nine victims who were killed by a disgruntled colleague during an early morning meeting.
