Cesar Joseph Malta, a 19-year-old resident of Bakersfield, California, tragically lost his life on the night of August 12, 2021. The incident occurred in East Bakersfield, where officers responded to reports of a shooting on Oregon Street near Kern Street around 9:56 p.m. Upon arrival, they found Malta suffering from a gunshot wound.
