Ian Bryson Reed, a 21-year-old resident of Bakersfield, California, tragically lost his life on January 26, 2018. Reed was the victim of a fatal shooting that occurred at the Gateway Inn on Union Avenue. The incident took place around 6:20 PM, and when officers arrived at the scene, they found Reed suffering from at least one gunshot wound. Despite their efforts, he was pronounced dead at the scene.
