On the night of August 28, 2021, 24-year-old Pablo Bretado from Pittsburg, California, was tragically shot and killed. The incident occurred around 10:42 PM near the intersection of Willow Pass Road and Bella Vista Avenue in Bay Point. Deputies from the Contra Costa County Sheriff's Office responded to reports of shots fired and found Bretado suffering from a gunshot wound.
