Sirjohn L. Hardiman Jr., a 21-year-old resident of Long Beach, California, tragically lost his life on October 23, 2021. The incident occurred around 6:55 p.m. on the 6200 block of Downey Avenue. Officers responding to the scene found Hardiman lying on the ground near a service road, suffering from a gunshot wound to the upper body. Despite immediate medical attention and transportation to a local hospital, Hardiman succumbed to his injuries early the next morning.
