Gustavo Martinez Avendano, a 42-year-old resident of South Gate, California, tragically lost his life on January 22, 2022. He was fatally shot near 4059 Tweedy Blvd. in South Gate. The incident occurred shortly before 3:30 a.m. inside a bar that Gustavo frequented, which was within walking distance from his home. According to the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner-Coroner's records, Gustavo was one of two men who were killed that night, with another individual sustaining injuries.
