Sammy Adbon, a 29-year-old resident of South Gate, California, tragically lost his life on December 11, 2021. He was found fatally shot at a homeless encampment located on the Los Angeles River Bike Path near Salt Lake Avenue and Wood Avenue. The incident occurred around 1:45 p.m., and when authorities arrived at the scene, they discovered Adbon unresponsive with gunshot wounds next to a tent within the encampment. Despite immediate efforts, he was pronounced dead at the scene.
