Death by Force

Christian Barrett, a 23-year-old resident of Vallejo, was tragically shot to death on February 3, 2022, in Richmond, California. The incident occurred in the 1600 block of Virginia Avenue, near Cutting Boulevard. Richmond police were alerted to the scene by a ShotSpotter activation, a system designed to detect and locate gunfire. Upon arrival, officers found Barrett on the ground with multiple gunshot wounds.
