Alexis Mendoza Raymundo, a 17-year-old from Santa Maria, California, tragically lost his life on February 4, 2022. He was fatally shot in the Santa Maria Town Center parking structure just before midnight. The incident also resulted in a 24-year-old woman being injured by gunfire, though her injuries were not life-threatening. Alexis was a former student of Santa Maria High School and had transferred to Olive Grove Charter School, where he was set to receive his diploma posthumously. His death d ...
