On April 1, 2022, Alexander Jackson-Baldwin, a 29-year-old transient, was found fatally shot outside the Green Tree Inn in Victorville, California. The incident occurred around 2:12 a.m. when deputies were dispatched to the scene after reports of gunshots. Upon arrival, they discovered Jackson-Baldwin near the entrance of the hotel with a gunshot wound.
