On May 10, 2024, at approximately 1:26 p.m., deputies from the Victorville Station responded to a report of a shooting at the Motel 6 located in the 16800 block of Stoddard Wells Road in Victorville, California. Upon arrival, they discovered 19-year-old Jontae Marsh, a resident of Victorville, suffering from gunshot wounds. Marsh was transported to a local hospital, where he was pronounced deceased.
