Death by Force

On October 30, 1999, Manuel Guardado, age 33, was shot and killed in Victorville, California. He and his friends were leaving the Lazer Daze entertainment center on Ramona Avenue when a group of Hispanic males in a brown 1990s Oldsmobile sedan approached them. The suspects opened fire, fatally wounding Guardado. The shooters fled the scene in the vehicle, and despite ongoing investigations, the case has remained unsolved for many years.
