Christopher Swartz, a 44-year-old resident of Barstow, California, was tragically found dead on April 17, 2022. The discovery of his body was made after a series of events that began with a stolen vehicle. On the afternoon of April 17, Barstow police officers conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle reported stolen from the 1500 block of West Main Street.
