Jimmy Ray Hawkins Jr., a 47-year-old resident of Bellflower, California, tragically lost his life on April 22, 2022, in a shooting incident in Long Beach. The incident occurred in the 3300 block of Andy Street, where Hawkins and a female companion were sitting in a parked car. Around 2:17 p.m., two men approached them in a light-colored sedan and opened fire. Hawkins was pronounced dead at the scene, while the woman sustained critical injuries and was hospitalized.
