Kon Patrick Fung, a 52-year-old Uber driver, tragically lost his life on July 17, 2022, in Oakland, California. Fung was fatally shot in the Little Saigon neighborhood while waiting in his car. The incident occurred in broad daylight at the intersection of East 22nd Street and 13th Avenue. According to reports, two individuals approached Fung and demanded that he exit his vehicle. When he did not comply, one of the suspects fired a shot, resulting in Fung's death at the scene.
