Lisa Herbst, aged 87, was found dead on July 20, 2022, in Palm Desert, California. The circumstances surrounding her death were tragic and complex. Lisa and her husband, Michael Herbst, also 87, were reported missing from the La Quinta Senior Living facility on July 13, 2022. The couple had not returned to the facility the previous night, prompting an investigation by the Riverside County Sheriff's Department.
