Norma Nyah Li Jara, a 29-year-old mother of two, tragically lost her life on June 17, 2019, in Stockton, California. Her death was the result of a murder-suicide incident. Norma was shot and killed near the intersection of Riverton Way and Five Mile Drive. The suspect in her murder was identified as Shamel Jasheen Brailsford, a 32-year-old man who subsequently took his own life after committing the crime.
