Yesenia DeLeon, a 35-year-old Latina, was tragically shot and killed on March 18, 2015, in the South Park neighborhood of Los Angeles, California. The incident occurred around 7 p.m. in the bedroom of a home located in the 300 block of West 56th Street. According to the Los Angeles County coroner’s records, DeLeon was shot in the face with a shotgun.
