Johnattan Perez, a 31-year-old resident of Sylmar, California, tragically lost his life on October 27, 2022. His body was discovered in a parked car along Angeles Crest Highway, at mile marker 27.33, in the forest above La Cañada Flintridge. The Los Angeles County Coroner's office confirmed that Perez died from a gunshot wound to the neck, and his death was ruled a homicide.
