Nicolas Gandara

On June 2, 2024, at approximately 9:22 p.m., 38-year-old father of six, Nicolas Gandara, was fatally shot outside his home on West Duarte Road in Monrovia, California. Gandara had intervened in an argument between a neighbor and 42-year-old transient, Christopher Wiggan, attempting to de-escalate the situation. During this intervention, Wiggan allegedly shot Gandara in the neck, resulting in his death.
