Daniel Becerra Chavez, a 25-year-old resident of Monrovia, California, tragically lost his life on October 25, 2015. Chavez was fatally shot in an unincorporated area of Monrovia, near Shrode and Lincoln avenues. The incident occurred around 7 p.m. when Chavez was walking down the 2400 block of Lincoln Avenue. Witnesses reported hearing four gunshots, and Chavez was found with multiple gunshot wounds to his upper torso. Despite the efforts of emergency responders, he succumbed to his injuries at ...
