Thomas "Tommy Ryan" Eboli, born Tommaso Eboli on June 13, 1911, in Scisciano, Italy, was a prominent figure in the New York City underworld, eventually becoming the acting boss of the Genovese crime family. On July 16, 1972, Eboli was murdered in Crown Heights, Brooklyn, New York. He was shot five times as he approached his car, a crime that remains unsolved to this day.
