Frederick Holmes, aged 55, tragically lost his life on February 14, 1977, in New Rochelle, New York. His death was part of a horrific spree killing carried out by Frederick Cowan, a disgruntled former employee of the Neptune Worldwide Moving Company. Cowan, who had been suspended from his job, harbored deep resentment and had a history of collecting Nazi paraphernalia. On the fateful day, Cowan arrived at the Neptune office building armed with an assault rifle and began his rampage.
