In the spring of 1982, the life of a young Brooklyn man was cut tragically short, leaving behind a legacy of unanswered questions and a case mired in controversy. John Aratico, a 22-year-old male, was fatally shot four times in the chest near his home in the Mapleton neighborhood on April 9, 1982.
