On the evening of March 21, 2014, in a home in Junction City, Oregon, a family dispute escalated into a fatal encounter. Inside the residence on David Lane, which he shared with his elderly father, 37-year-old Billy Raymond House, a male, was involved in a physical confrontation with him. The altercation concluded when the elder House, 81-year-old Billy Thomas House, fatally shot his son.
