A man and his wife are murdered on the same night
On January 21, 1970, 19-year-old Terry Dade and his 20-year-old wife, Julie Dade, were brutally murdered in Junction City, Oregon. Early that morning, neighbors reported hearing a woman screaming, and a witness saw a man dragging a woman into a vehicle near the couple's Maple Street apartment. Soon after, the local fire department responded to a burning car on Prairie Road, where Julie Dade’s body was found underneath, having been strangled, beaten, and set on fire.
