On March 1, 1983, 23-year-old Louis Petrizzo was fatally shot outside his residence on East 54th Street in the Mill Basin neighborhood of Brooklyn, New York. He sustained six gunshot wounds to the chest.
Petrizzo was reportedly perceived as a potential cooperator, which may have led to his targeted killing.
