Jeremy Mele, an 18-year-old from Neptune, New Jersey, tragically lost his life on May 24, 2000, in what became known as the Wendy's massacre in Flushing, Queens, New York. Jeremy was one of seven employees working at the Wendy's restaurant that night when two men, John Taylor and Craig Godineaux, entered the establishment with the intent to rob it.
