Robert Brown, a 16-year-old resident of Westbury, was tragically shot and killed in Hempstead Village, NY, on May 23, 2014. The incident occurred just before midnight on Bennett Avenue, where police responded to a 911 call reporting a shooting. Upon arrival, officers found Robert Brown with a gunshot wound. He was immediately rushed to a nearby hospital but was pronounced dead shortly after 2 a.m. on May 24, 2014.
