In the early hours of a Saturday morning in Rochester, New York, violence shattered the quiet of Lyell Avenue, leaving two men dead and a community in mourning. Among the victims was Marquis Chambers, a 31-year-old man, who was fatally shot on May 4, 2024. Another man, 29-year-old Jared Perry, also lost his life in the attack, and an unnamed woman was wounded.
