Darien Brydie, a 21-year-old from Chicago, was fatally shot on August 23, 2020, in the parking lot of the Nyack Plaza apartment complex in Nyack, New York. The incident occurred around 8 p.m. while Brydie was in a car with 18-year-old Collyer R. Goodman from Valley Cottage, NY. According to police reports, the two men were allegedly in the car together when the shooting happened. Brydie was rushed to Montefiore Nyack Hospital, where he was pronounced dead after surgery.
