In the quiet hamlet of Palenville, New York, a tragic and violent series of events unfolded on August 10, 2014, leading to the death of 51-year-old Daniel F. Brennan, Sr. of Schenectady. On that Sunday, Brennan was at a home on Pennsylvania Avenue with his girlfriend, 49-year-old Pammi Mroczek. The residence belonged to Pammi's estranged husband, Robert Mroczek, a 46-year-old New York State Parole Officer.
