Sayvon Marcus Burt, a 21-year-old resident of Freeport, New York, was tragically shot and killed on December 20, 2014, in Roosevelt, New York. The incident occurred in the afternoon, around 4:15 PM, when Nassau County police responded to a ShotSpotter alert and a 911 call reporting gunfire on Park Avenue.
