In the winter of 2014, in Rochester, New York, the life of 28-year-old Jeremy Dukes was brought to a violent end. On the evening of December 21st, police were called to a residence on Driving Park Avenue, where they discovered Dukes's body. An investigation revealed that he had been struck with a blunt object and then fatally shot with a handgun. The Monroe County Medical Examiner pronounced him dead at the scene. He was a Black male.
