In a heartbreaking act of violence that shattered a Queens family, 7-year-old Kayla Walker was tragically killed on January 24, 2015. The young girl fell victim to a horrifying murder-suicide perpetrated by her own father. The incident also claimed the lives of her mother, Shantai Hale, who was 31 years old, and her grandmother, Viola Walker, who was 62.
