In a tragic turn of events stemming from a gang rivalry, 25-year-old Randell Cassimy lost his life on January 25, 2015. The fatal encounter unfolded inside a Springfield Gardens apartment building in Queens, NY, when a dispute between Cassimy and a 20-year-old rival gang member, Shawn Van Williams, escalated.
