Phillip Perea, a 41-year-old former employee of a Fox television station in Texas, tragically died by suicide on January 26, 2015, outside the News Corp. building in Manhattan, New York. Perea shot himself in the chest around 9 a.m. near Radio City Music Hall, in front of the building that houses Fox News, the New York Post, and The Wall Street Journal.
