Lamar Brown, aged 44, was tragically shot and killed on January 16, 2022, in the lobby of his apartment building located on West 176th Street near Amsterdam Avenue in Washington Heights, Manhattan. The incident occurred in the early hours of the morning, around 2:00 AM. Brown was found unconscious with a gunshot wound to his abdomen and was rushed to New York-Presbyterian Hospital Columbia, where he was pronounced dead.
