Terence West Jr., a 16-year-old from Newburgh, NY, tragically lost his life on May 9, 2015. He was shot outside his family's home at the Lake Street Apartments in the early hours of the morning. According to prosecutors, Terence was lured outside by a text message before being fatally shot. He was rushed to St. Luke's-Cornwall Hospital's Newburgh campus, where he succumbed to his injuries.
