In the early hours of a Sunday morning, a confrontation born from a soured romance turned deadly on a quiet street in the West Brighton neighborhood of Staten Island. Joshua Williams, a 30-year-old man from the East Flatbush section of Brooklyn, had been visiting his girlfriend at her home on Bement Avenue.
