On May 26, 2015, 26-year-old Galvin Becerra was tragically shot and killed in his Gravesend apartment in Brooklyn, New York. The incident occurred late at night, around 11:17 PM, when both Galvin and his twin brother were found with gunshot wounds to their torsos. Galvin was shot once in the chest and was rushed to Coney Island Hospital, where he was pronounced dead. His twin brother, who sustained three gunshot wounds, was taken to Lutheran Hospital and survived the attack.
