Azhawn Harvey, a 20-year-old male, was caught in a burst of violence on the Fourth of July in 2015 while at Thornden Park in Syracuse, New York. A dispute escalated into a shooting, and Harvey was struck in the head. He was rushed to the hospital and clung to life for five days before succumbing to his injuries on July 9, 2015.
