In the summer of 2021, a burst of gunfire on the North Side of Syracuse tragically cut short the life of 35-year-old Tyce Smith. On the evening of Friday, July 2nd, police responded to a call of shots fired in the vicinity of the 100 block of North Geddes Street. Upon their arrival, they found a scene of chaos and a man suffering from a gunshot wound. That man was quickly identified as Tyce Smith, a resident of Syracuse.
