In the early morning hours of September 21, 2015, Mamadou Barry, a 39-year-old Black / African American livery cab driver, was found deceased in his green Lincoln Town Car in the Bronx, New York. A father of three with a fourth child on the way, Barry was discovered in the driver's seat at the intersection of East 189th Street and Beaumont Avenue with a fatal gunshot wound to the head.
