Death by Force

Nathaniel Szeto, a 19-year-old resident of the Smith Houses in Manhattan's Lower East Side, was tragically shot to death on September 26, 2015. Early that morning, around 5:44 a.m., police responded to a 911 call reporting a man shot in the lobby of 10 Catherine Slip, part of the Smith Houses complex. Upon arrival, officers found Szeto unconscious with a gunshot wound to the head. He was immediately transported to New York Downtown Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
