In the early morning hours of September 26, 2015, tragedy struck in the lobby of a building at the Alfred E. Smith Houses on the Lower East Side of Manhattan. Nathaniel Szeto, a 19-year-old male, was discovered with a fatal gunshot wound. The incident occurred at approximately 5:45 a.m. near Catherine Slip and Water Street.

Emergency services were quick to respond, and Szeto was rushed to Lower Manhattan Hospital. Despite the efforts of medical personnel, he succumbed to his injuries and ...
