In the late afternoon of a September day in 2015, the life of 20-year-old Lamont Mason was tragically cut short. On Sunday, September 27th, at approximately 4:41 p.m., violence erupted at the Robert F. Wagner Houses, a public housing complex in East Harlem, Manhattan. Lamont was found unconscious and unresponsive, having sustained multiple gunshot wounds to his chest and legs.
