In the early hours of a Wednesday morning in November 2015, the life of Hector Luis Diaz Jr., a 35-year-old male, was tragically cut short in his Bushwick, Brooklyn apartment building. Shortly after 1 a.m. on November 4th, Diaz went down to the lobby of his Menahan Street residence. It was there that a bullet, fired through the front door, struck him in the head.
