In a grim discovery on a Sunday evening in January 2016, the decomposing bodies of 38-year-old Rosie Sanchez and her 40-year-old boyfriend, Anderson Nunez, were found inside their Sheepshead Bay, Brooklyn apartment. The couple had been brutally murdered days earlier, on December 28, 2015, in what would unfold as a chilling tale of familial betrayal. An investigation quickly pointed to two suspects: Rosie's own 15-year-old daughter and her daughter's older boyfriend.
