On a spring evening in May 2016, the life of Rochelle DeCruz-Hill, a 35-year-old mother of six, was tragically cut short in Rochester, New York. On May 19th, police responded to a home on Frost Avenue to find DeCruz-Hill with a fatal gunshot wound to her upper body. The initial investigation pointed to a domestic dispute as the catalyst for the violence that unfolded.
