On a spring evening in May 2016, the life of Rochelle DeCruz-Hill, a 35-year-old mother of six, was tragically cut short in Rochester, New York. On May 19th, police responded to a home on Frost Avenue to find DeCruz-Hill with a fatal gunshot wound to her upper body. The day after the discovery of DeCruz-Hill's body, authorities announced the arrest of 41-year-old Nathaniel Jean-Pierre.
He was taken into custody and charged with second-degree murder and criminal possession of a weapon in connection with her death.
